Hi, my name is Peter Tashjian. I manage the Software
development Lifecycle of numerous websites. I have an insatiable appetite for
finding new and better ways of doing things and since technology is both a hobby
and my job, the process is more of an adventure than a task. I’m fortunate
enough to work with a winning team and they make my job all the more enjoyable.
I'm a bit "attached" to technology due to the opportunities it provides to help
enhance our lives and sometimes simplify or automate frequently performed tasks
both at work and at home. I do however "do my best" to maintain balance between
technology and other things I enjoy in life.
I spend a lot of time on the web and utilize various websites for knowledge
management. Since I've helped build a webshop from ground up, I wanted to create
a space to document what I've learned and share it with others that are in
the same field. I began the creation of a holistic
list containing the necessary components of a webshop titled, “
21 Steps to a
Successful Webshop”.
In order for a webshop to be successful, certain essential components must exist. Think of this website as a "box" that contains "all" the essential components required to run a professional webshop, "
21 Steps to a Successful Webshop". I’m going to do my best to update and enhance this list on an ongoing basis as this field is continuously evolving. Please feel free to contact me with your ideas and suggestions. My purpose is to learn, teach and to bring transparency to an otherwise complex topic.
